The iMPact Program delivers an innovative and inspiring educational experience specialising in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for junior secondary students.
This program provides opportunities to better prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century by developing the following skills:
- critical thinking
- problem-solving
- effective communication
- collaboration
- self-directed learning
- technology proficiency
- essential life skills
Our approach integrates cross-disciplinary, technology-centred learning aligned with the Australian curriculum, aimed at cultivating the next generation of change-makers with a robust STEM foundation.
Selection Criteria:
- self-motivated with a growth mindset
- can work collaboratively in diverse teams
- interest in STEM
- achieve at least “B" academic standard in Mathematics and/or Science
- high level of effort and behaviour in previous school year
Entry requirements:- Enrolment EOI form, report cards and NAPLAN results
- BYOD charter agreements and third-party consent forms
- iMPact behaviour contract
Applications are open in Term 2 for mid-year entry, and Term 4 for following year entry for students entering year 7, 8 or 9 in respective years.
